Worley Parsons WA           Port Hedland ConvaTech have been awarded the contract for the supply of belt cleaners for the expansion of the FMG Ports. Starting 3rd Quarter 2011

Goodline WA Port Hedland Goodline Construction Pty Ltd has awarded ConvaTech the contract for the installation and splicing of 9 conveyors at the FMG Ports expansion project. This work is due to begin in late September 2011 with a duration of approx 14 weeks.

Moolarben Coal NSW Port Hedland Moolarben Coal has awarded ConvaTech the contract to maintain the conveyor systems at their NSW CHPP

Aurecon Hatch / NCIG NSW Moolarben ConvaTech was awarded the contract for the supply and adjustment of belt cleaners for the stage 2AA of the NCIG Coal terminal.

WA Port Hedland CV901 Conveyor Belt Replacement – Splicing together (8 splices) and then replacing over 2.2km of steel cord belting. Project included the design and manufacture of specific belt changing equipment and mobilisation of all plant and equipment from Newcastle to the Port Hedland site.

Rio Tinto WA Pilbara Iron Paraburdoo CV555 Overland Conveyor Belt replacement – Splicing together (28 splices) and then replacing over 20km of steel cord belting. Project included the mobilisation of all plant and equipment from Newcastle to the Paraburdoo site.

BHP Billiton NSW Mt Arthur CHPP BHP Billiton has awarded ConvaTech the contract to maintain the conveyor systems at their Mt Arthur CHPP.

Stratford Coal NSW Stratford and Duralie CHPP’s Stratford Coal has awarded ConvaTech the contract to maintain the conveyor systems at their Stratford and Duralie CHPP’s.

NCIG NSW NCIG Coal Loader NCIG has awarded ConvaTech the maintenance contracts for conveyors belts, belt cleaning systems, idlers & pulleys and sample stations at their new coal loading facility.

Eraring Energy Rail Unloader NSW Eraring, Lake Macquarie Eraring Energy has again awarded Convatech the contract to operate and maintain the rail unloading facility at Eraring Power Station for two years.

Delta Electricity NSW Vales Point Delta Electricity has again awarded ConvaTech the contract to maintain the conveyor systems at Vales point and Munmorah Power stations for a 2 year period.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2009

Thiess Services NSW NCIG Coal Loader
Newcastle
Thiess awarded ConvaTech the installation and splicing of the conveyor belts at the new NCIG coal loading terminal. The scope of work included the installation and splicing of 3 steel cord 3200mm wide belts, 9 steel cord 2500mm wide belts and 2 ply 750mm wide belts. This project commenced in November and was completed in April 2010.

Integra Coal NSW Glennies Creek Underground Mine Integra Coal awarded ConvaTech the belt works for their drift expansion project on conveyor CV002. This belt is 1400mm wide ST3450 FRAS grade. ConvaTech is to cut the drift belt and fold it out of the way, so structure can be installed. Once completed, ConvaTech is to pull the belt back through the system and splice a 100m insert into the system. Whilst the structure is being installed, ConvaTech are also required to remove the belt from Conveyor CV001 which will be decommissioned. This work was completed in September.

Port Kembla
Coal Terminal
NSW Port Kembla Port Kembla Coal Terminal awarded ConvaTech the replacement of NC14 conveyor belt. This belt was 2000mm wide ST1400 and 960m long. This project was completed in August.

Xstrata Coal NSW West Wallsend Underground Mine Xstrata Coal awarded ConvaTech the removal and reinstall of Syntron Chutes that feeds their Drift Conveyor. Located below the underground surge bins, ConvaTech had to remove a number of chutes and make minor modifications to chute structure prior to reinstallation. We also replaced and relagged pulleys on the surface. Works were completed in August.

Eraring Energy NSW Eraring Power Station Eraring Energy awarded ConvaTech the upgrade of C1 conveyor from 800 to 1000 tph. The scope of work included the project management, design, fabrication, procurement and installation of loading chutes, skirting systems, vibration feeder, drive unit and drive pulley. This project was completed in May.

WGE NSW Port Kembla WGE awarded ConvaTech the contract to remove and reinstall 501 conveyor belt during the BlueScope Steel No.5 Blast Furnace Reline. This belt is ST2000 x 1800mm wide x 900m long and the incline of this conveyor is 1:6. The belt was removed in February and the new belt was installed in May.

H F Hand NSW Ridgeway HF Hand awarded ConvaTech the installation and splicing of 4 conveyor belts as part of the Ridgeway Deeps expansion project. This work was completed in January.

Monadelphous WA Newman Monadelphous awarded ConvaTech the belt installation and splicing package for the Newman Hub Stage 2 Project. This involves the installation of 5 steel cord conveyor belts and completing 11 splices. This project was completed in July.
